Bacon suits were a hot topic this week!
First, a few days ago Breanna told me we needed to go shopping. I asked her why, and she said she needed to buy a bacon suit. I was perplexed.
Daddy: A bacon suit? What’s a bacon suit?
Breanna: Yeah, I need a bacon suit, Daddy! I need a bacon suit so I can go SWIMMING!
And it dawned on me that for the past several years my daughter has thought Eva and I were saying “bacon suit” instead of “bathing suit” when we went swimming at the pool over the summer and when we stayed in hotels during Eva’s softball tourneys.
I guess it’s kind of like when you hear a song and you think you’re singing along with the correct lyrics, only to learn later that you mis-heard the words. 
The second time bacon suits came up was today when I took off work to attend the Halloween party at Bre-Bre’s daycare. Her teachers were totally into the Halloween spirit, as they came to school dressed as bacon & eggs. Miss Lauren was the egg, and Miss Jennifer was wearing … you guessed it, none other than … a bacon suit.
I laughed out loud when I saw her, and I explained how Breanna said she needed a ‘bacon suit’ so she could go swimming. We both got a good laugh out of that. She turned to Breezy and asked if she needed a bacon suit so she could go swimming, but Bre was too into the carnival games to pay attention to the question.

Bacon suit! That’s perfect! I remember screwing up the words to “Radar Love” by White Lion. I always said “Red Eye Love”!
I thought, what the hell are they singing about air travel for? I just found out a few years ago that I had been messing it up since I was a kid! HAHAHHA
