Take turns
March 12, 2010
There are some fundamental rules that parents try to teach their kids. Chew with your mouth closed. Share your toys. Say ‘please’ and ‘thank you.’ Treat others like you want to be treated. Don’t talk to strangers. Take turns.
As a Toastmaster, one of my favorite websites is TED. This afternoon, I watched an awesome four-and-a-half minute speech — by Gary Lauder – that was too good not to share (especially since most Toastmasters speeches are in the range of 4-8 minutes). It brings the childhood concept of taking turns into the adult world. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

There’s daddy

The constructions
My 3-year-old daughter invented another new word. This one makes sense!
